The Challenge
- Objective: Design and develop a secondary marketplace e-commerce platform for buying and selling second-hand tractors and agri-implements.
- Key Requirements:
- Homepage – User-friendly, showcasing featured listings and filters (price, location, brand).
- User Registration – Easy and secure registration for buyers and sellers, with email, phone, and social media verification.
- Tractor Listings – Sellers create listings with photos, specifications, history, location, and price.
- Search & Filters – Buyers can filter and search based on criteria like make, model, price, and location.
- Messaging System – Direct messaging between buyers and sellers for inquiries and negotiations.
- Seller Dashboard – Tracks listing performance, inquiries, and sales data.
- Admin Panel – Allows Hello Tractor to manage listings, approve transactions, and ensure quality control.
- Add-On Features:
- Dealer Listings – Include a section for tractor parts dealers and related equipment suppliers and connect them to buyers.
- Trained Tractor Operators – A feature allowing tractor owners to browse and connect with certified tractor operators in their area.

You can participate solo. Teams can have maximum of 5 members
Yes, participants will be given necessary resources including Hello Tractor’s branding materials and guidelines
Feel free to use any tech stack! Popular choices include Next.js, Laravel and others. Whatever gets the job done!
Yes! Mentors from Hello Tractor will be available during key check-ins to guide and answer questions.
You will be required to submit a public GitHub repository link, deployed website link, a brief report, and a video demo. Figma designs are optional but encouraged!
Each team will have 5 minutes to present their project on Demo Day, followed by a short Q&A.
The hackathon will kick off with an opening ceremony on Nov 18th. The event will be held virtually.
No, every participant is required to register individually. You can form a team before or during the hackathon.
Yes! We have exciting prizes for the winner, 2nd Place and 3rd Place.
Winners will be announced at the closing ceremony on the final day of the hackathon.
